Forged from High Carbon (5Cr15MoV) Stainless Steel. To boost its sturdiness, the steel contains 0.45 - 0.5 carbon. This gives the blade improved tensile strength, edge retention, and overall resistance to its use. (Basically, the blade stays sharp longer than other knives).
Blade hardness scale: 55 - 57 HRC
NOTE: Because they're handcrafted using difficult Japanese techniques, the whole process is longer than "machine-made knives", so we can't allow our customers to get more than 4 units.
